Competence X

The online pedagogical foundation of the Competence X training platform was originally developed in 2013-2015 in cooperation with approximately 2400 teachers in a hundred Finnish schools and educational institutions, and it was introduced in the personnel training of companies and organizations at the same time. Now it has been updated to meet today’s accessibility, security/protection requirements, and enhanced with Azure AI built into the system and protected.

The first AI-powered training platform on the market

What sets Competence X apart from the learning environments on the market is its AI-assisted course builder (AI Course Creator). The course builder built into the system enables the production of the first version of work instructions and induction materials, including pictures and assignments, in less than 15 minutes. You can then edit the material as you wish, easily and quickly make different language versions of it, or tailor-made courses for different learners. You can also produce content securely from your own source materials alone. Competence X’s AI engine is Microsoft’s Azure Open AI, which enables you to operate in a secure and secure environment.

There is also a personal, AI-based and, in the future, voice-controlled assistant for the employee, which helps the employee understand work instructions and provide explanations in different languages if necessary, regardless of time (24/7) and place. The employee can also ask the assistant to create individualized tasks and problems related to the topic area for them to solve.

Everything you need in one system

Competence X is the most versatile training platform (LXP) on the market for experiential and communal onboarding, which includes all the necessary functionalities built-in. The service has a total of more than seventy interactive tools for enriching content, and H5P tools, for example, work in the system so that you do not need external licenses to use them.

Secure and secure service

The secure Competence X service integrates with other systems in use (e.g. SAP and Workday) and it meets all accessibility requirements, as well as the requirements set by the GDPR for information security/protection. A separate Privacy Statement (DPIA) is made for each installed service together with the customer, and the corresponding part of Mobie Oy is delivered to the customer immediately after the sale.

All data is located on Mobie’s servers in Europe. The AI component is Microsoft’s secure Azure Open AI, which operates in its own educational platform. A significant part of data security is also that Competence X includes all functionalities, including those intended for content enrichment, built into the learning environment, so that all data is always located on Mobie Oy’s own servers.
